Our Chapter represents approximately 100 German teachers in the Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia schools. We are a group of dedicated educators in all manner of institutions, from elementary and middle schools to high schools, Saturday schools and institutions of higher education. Our Chapter site is an adjunct to the excellent website of our national organization, AATG, www.aatg.org/.
I have been a member of the Chapter and a Chapter Board Member for over 20 years. I served as the Chapter President for 6 years and as the Chapter Testing Chair for another 6 years. I am happy to serve the chapter again since 2019. I welcome you to become involved at the Chapter level and help us plan for our two major events each year: The Fall Teacher Immersion and the May High School Awards Ceremony.
